‘Three Men on motorcycles’ is a fun-filled ride over the highest mountains and roads in the world, in the company of three crazy riders.
The eponymous ‘Three men’ are the author and his two friends - who go on the most iconic ride of India - the ride to Ladakh. Egged on by his adventure loving wife, they do not only Ladakh - but also the remote and inaccessible regions of Zanskar, Nubra, Pangong and Tso Moriri.

Most ride travelogues tend to be serious and introspective, where the author seems to be on a path of self-discovery and soul searching. This book goes in the opposite direction, where the author goes out of his way to show that riding is a fun activity, and is done to make you feel good. The book is hilarious and pokes good natured fun at various persons and incidents that they encounter.
While funny and engaging, it is also full of practical information and tips, which will help anyone wishing to undertake the same trip themselves.

The book is full of interesting characters - from the three amigos themselves, to ‘She Who Must Be Obeyed’ as he calls his wife, and the various people they meet on the road - and interesting incidents, adventures and misadventures of the road trip.

The language is very real and readable, and this is a trip that can be enjoyed by adventurer and arm-chair traveler alike.
